Become a Participant

Builds purpose, helps the environment & creates friendships

At EWC, our participants are people with a disability or social or intellectual impairment who take part in dismantling and recycling donated items at one of our workshops.

We welcome people of all abilities and believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed in some way.

We are also an NDIS Registered Service Provider under the Capacity Building - Social Community and Civic Participation category.

To help cover our costs, we charge our NDIS participants an attendance fee of $105 per 3 hour session if they come independently. If a participant attends with a support worker to facilitate access to the program, the fee is $75 per session.

Become a Volunteer

Happiness comes from helping others

At EWC, a volunteer is someone who volunteers their time to help supervise and assist the participants and staff in our workshops.

A volunteer will also enjoy social interaction or assist with sorting / testing / refurbishing donated items.

No previous experience is required to volunteer at EWC - you just need to have a positive attitude and be ready to help our participants recycle ewaste while having fun.

If you are over 18 years old, volunteers need to obtain a free NDIS worker screening clearance (Government issued Blue and Yellow cards).

If you are 15 years old or under, you must be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian 18 years or older at all times.
